Frenemies. I'm sure you have one... or two. They're friends, kinda. Sometimes you don't like them, and they're enemies. Nevertheless, you keep them close because that like/dislike thing is pretty chemical and fun. And you gotta watch your back :-)
If you're in Southern California, stop by Vroman's Books on Friday, June 22 at 7 pm for a Frenemies book event. Frenemies, a novel, is written by Megan Crane. Never met her, but she's a friend of my friend, author Liza Palmer. So I guess that makes us associates. Hmmm.
I've heard some good things about Frenemies. Might end up on the summer pile of books.
Sometimes a book can be a better friend than that frenemy in your life.
