Just in time for the upcoming release of the film Sex and the City 2...The Carrie Diaries, a novel by Candace Bushnell, which follows the character Carrie Bradshaw in high school, just as she is developing her knack for fashion, cocktails, and cool/trendy friends (another foursome she hangs with in h.s., not the women she goes on to meet as she starts her writing career in NYC.)
L.A. Times did a great review of The Carrie Diaries this weekend.
What a perfect way to understand Carrie Bradshaw... by going back to her high school years.
